The yoga sessions will be a balanced combination of poses and a sustained increase awareness of posture to another. Awareness and attention to our breathing are important aspects of the course. Vigilance is always given to the alignment of basic therapeutic principles and postures. Adaptations are available to help individuals understand and work with their individual limitations. Classes are energetically balanced, incorporating a good physical workout, poses soothing and deep relaxation.

WHAT TO BRING

Comfortable clothing for yoga, a yoga mat, a small towel for yoga, an eye pillow (optional), warm clothes, a bathing suit, a robe, shoes or sandals, comfortable shoes.

  • Day 1, Arrive at Delhi, the capital city of India"
    On arrival at Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL), a representative will meet and greet you followed by a transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure. Stay overnight at the hotel in Delhi. Delhi, India’s modern capital is also an ancient city tracing its origins in legend. It is dotted with hundreds of landmarks and offers more than a millennium of history in stone. From there the various Hindu and Muslim dynasties including the Mughals ruled. When the British administration moved to Delhi in 1911, New Delhi became the capital of India. transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure. Stay overnight at the hotel in Delhi.
  • Day 2, Sightseeing tour of old and New Delhi"
    You will enjoy breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, you will explore and experience the capital of Muslim India between the 12th and 20th centuries, Old Delhi. You shall stop at the Red Fort for a photo shoot and then take a Rickshaw ride through the narrow streets of Old Delhi up to the nearby Jama Masjid Mosque, the largest in India, which has a courtyard that can hold 25,000 worshipers. They pay a poignant visit to Rajghat, the site of Mahatma Gandhi’s cremation, and a memorial to this humble man who so changed the world. In the afternoon you will explore India’s bustling capital city the New Delhi visiting the Vijay Chowk, “Victory Square”, stopover at the Presidential Palace with its intriguing combination of classical and Indian design elements, and the India Gate memorializing Indian soldiers who died in World War I. Then travel far back in time at Humayun’s Tomb, a UNESCO world heritage site, dating from 1570 AD and the first garden-tomb on the Indian sub-continent, and lastly visit the Qutab Minar, the tallest brick minaret in the world. You will stay the night in a comfortable hotel in Delhi.
  • Day 3, Delhi and Mandawa"
    You will enjoy breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, the group will start the drive to Mandawa. Mandawa, part of Shekhavati, a region once on the silk route to China, had its inhabitants the rich merchants who lavishly decorated their houses with paintings on religion, historical, folk, and social themes. Upon arrival, you will check in at the hotel. During the afternoon, you will enjoy a guided tour around the Shekhawati region, visiting some of the prominent and significant Havelis. You will stay the night in a comfortable hotel in Mandawa. The ride will take approximately six hours and 260 kilometers.
  • Day 4, Mandawa and Bikaner"
    You will enjoy a morning yoga class and breakfast at the hotel. Later, the group will start with the drive to the next destination, Bikaner. During the afternoon, you will enjoy a tour around the city to visit the Junagarh Fort built in 1593 AD by Raja Rai Singh, a general in the army of Emperor Akbar. This fort is a formidable structure encircled by a moat and has some beautiful palaces within. Then visit the camel breeding farm. You will stay the night in a comfortable hotel in Bikaner. The ride will take approximately three to four hours and 190 kilometers.
  • Day 5, Bikaner and Jodhpur"
    You will enjoy a morning yoga class and breakfast at the hotel. Later, the group will start with the drive to Jodhpur. Set at the edge of the Thar desert, the imperial city of Jodhpur echoes tales of antiquity in the emptiness of the desert. Upon arrival check in to the hotel. The rest of the day will be at your leisure. You will stay the night in a comfortable hotel in Jodhpur. The ride will take approximately five to six hours and 330 kilometers.
  • Day 6, Jodhpur"
    You will enjoy a morning yoga class and breakfast at the hotel. Proceed for your city tour visiting Mehrangarh Fort, the most magnificent fort in Jodhpur is the Mehrangarh Fort. It is situated on a 150-meter high hill. Rao Jodha, the then chief of the Rathore clan, constructed it in 1459. There are several attractions within the fort like several palaces, galleries, a museum, and temples. Jaswant Thada - Jaswant Thada lies to the left of the Mehrangarh fort complex. It is a royal cenotaph made up of white marble. It was built to commemorate Maharaja Jaswant Singh. Some rare portraits of the former rulers of Jodhpur are also displayed here. In the afternoon, enjoy a Jeep Safari to Bishnoi villages. You will stay the night in a comfortable hotel in Jodhpur.
  • Day 7, Jodhpur, Ranakpur, and Udaipur"
    You will enjoy a morning yoga class and breakfast at the hotel. After, the group starts the drive towards Udaipur en route to visit the famous Jain Temples at Ranakpur. Udaipur is a beautiful city, set amidst the Aravalli Ranges of Rajasthan, India. Udaipur is known for its picturesque lakes, also referred to as "The city of lakes". The elevated hills and the beautiful lakes make a picture-perfect backdrop to Udaipur city. You will stay the night in a comfortable hotel in Udaipur. The ride will take approximately five to six hours and 290 kilometers.
  • Day 8, Udaipur"
    You will enjoy a morning yoga class and breakfast at the hotel. Later, proceed for a full-day guided tour of Udaipur, beginning with the visit to Saheliyon Ki Bari, the "Garden of maids”. Then visiting The City Palace Complex, overlooking Lake Pichola, reveals the splendor with which maharajas and their families surrounded themselves. The City Palace Museum exhibits a remarkable collection of ancient curios, antiques, and sculptures, as well as priceless possessions of ages gone by. Miniature paintings on display depict many aspects of the royal lifestyle enjoyed by the privileged few who lived here. Up next is a visit to the magnificent Jagdish Mandir, the largest temple in Udaipur, adorned with bas-reliefs of elephants, alligators, horsemen, and musicians; and enshrining a black stone image of the supreme Hindu god Vishnu. Followed by a boat ride on picturesque Lake Pichola reveals some of the spectacular palaces of the Rajput princes, for which Udaipur is famous, on islands and along the shore. In the evening enjoy a visit to an Indian home for a cooking demonstration and dinner. You will stay the night in a comfortable hotel in Udaipur.
  • Day 9, Udaipur and Pushkar"
    You will enjoy a morning yoga class and breakfast at the hotel. Check out and drive to Pushkar, a holy city of Rajasthan. It is also famous for its yearly Pushkar cattle fair. In the afternoon, visit the Brahma Temple, the only temple in the world dedicated to him.
  • Day 10, Pushkar and Jaipur (by surface: 150 kilometers 3 to 4-hour drive)"
    You will enjoy a morning yoga class and breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, you will drive to Jaipur and on reaching check in to your hotel. Jaipur is also known as "The pink city” for the striking pink stucco walls of old Jaipur. In the evening enjoy a Mehendi which is an art of decorating the hands and other parts of the body with Henna. You will stay the night in a comfortable hotel in Jaipur. The ride will take approximately three to four hours and 150 kilometers.
  • Day 11, Jaipur"
    You will enjoy breakfast at the hotel and then you will start the city tour with an excursion to the splendid Amber Fort, an architectural masterpiece of great historical significance. Begun in the 16th century and built of red sandstone and marble, the seemingly rough exterior gives no hint of the warm and opulent ambiance of the interior, as you’ll discover this morning. In the afternoon visit the splendid city palace and museum which opens a door into the opulent world of the Rajput princes and the treasures with which they surrounded themselves. The city palace complex is home to several palatial buildings constructed by influential rulers that reflect the blending of Rajasthani and Mughal architectural styles. Maharaja Jai Singh II built Jantar Mantar, the world’s biggest stone observatory, between 1727 and 1733 AD. You will be amazed by the “tools” he used to study the heavens and they still provide accurate information today. Further visit the Palace of Winds also known as Hawa Mahal, a five-storeyed wonder with a spectacular pyramidal facade and overhanging windows with latticed screens, domes, and spires. You will stay the night in a comfortable hotel in Jaipur.
  • Day 12, Jaipur, Fatehpur Sikri, and Agra"
    You will enjoy a morning yoga class and breakfast at the hotel. Check out and proceed with your journey to your last important city Agra. En route visit the old deserted town of Fatehpur Sikri. In the evening enjoy the cultural show “Mohabbat the Taj” at Kalakriti. You will stay the night in a comfortable hotel in Agra. The ride will take approximately four to five hours and 240 kilometers.
  • Day 13, Agra and Delhi"
    You will enjoy a morning yoga class and breakfast at the hotel. In the morning proceed for a guided tour visiting the Taj Mahal, one of the world’s most admired architectural masterpieces. This majestic marble-domed mausoleum was built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife to symbolize unending love. Then visit the Agra Fort, with splendid remains of sandstone and marble palaces. In the afternoon drive back to Delhi and on reaching Delhi, check in at Delhi hotel or Departure to Rishikesh. The ride will take approximately four to five hours and 210 kilometers.
