Day 1, October 20 - Arrive Delhi, the capital city of India
Day 2, October 21 - Delhi to Varanasi (by flight)
Day 3, October 22 - Varanasi - early morning boat ride at the Ganges
Reaching the banks of river Ganges before sunrise will give an unforgettable experience. Take a boat and reach the middle of the river and see the sight of sunrise unfolding before you. In the background, you will notice the chanting of mantras in the temples all across the bank of Ganges.
While walking back, you will notice the growing crowds as the shops will be open and many faithful worshippers and devotees will come to offer prayer to Kashi Vishwanath. After breakfast at the hotel, the rest of the day is to visit local market visits. Later in time, you will transfer to the airport and board flight to Delhi. You will then stay overnight at the hotel in Delhi.
Day 4, October 23 - Delhi to Agra (by surface: 247 kilometers or three to four hours) via the express highway.
Arrive Agra and check in at your hotel. You will join a guided tour of Agra Fort with splendid remains of sandstone and marble palaces. In the evening, you will enjoy the cultural show 'Mohabbat the Taj' at Kalakriti. You will stay overnight at the hotel in Agra.
Day 5, October 24 - Agra to Delhi (by surface: 247 kilometers or three to four hours) via the express highway.
Your breakfast will be served at the hotel. You will participate in a guided tour of Taj Mahal, visiting the Taj Mahal, one of the world’s most admired architectural masterpieces. This majestic marble-domed mausoleum built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife to symbolize unending love. Later, you will drive back to Delhi and on reaching Delhi. After check-in at the hotel in Delhi, the rest of the day is at leisure. Your overnight stay is at the hotel in Delhi.
Day 6, October 25 - Delhi to Rishikesh (by surface: 230 kilometers or five to six hours).
At 4:00 a.m., you will have an early morning drive to Rishikesh and enjoy the lunch en-route. On arrival at Rishikesh is the hotel check-in, relaxing, and refreshing. Later in the evening, you will visit Laksham Jhula, a long and mighty bridge over the Ganges, which was built in 1939. You will visit various temples in the city along with the famous Beetles ashram or the original, Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ashram. It was abandoned in 1997 and is now back under the control of the forest department.
Day 7, October 26 - Morning yoga and meditation class & Neelkanth Mahadev Temple.
Day 8, October 27 - Morning yoga and meditation class & river rafting.
Day 9, October 28 - Rishikesh - Delhi & airport.
